KeySmart® Rugged

The KeySmart Rugged works very well, holds plenty of keys, and feels solid and durable. My only criticism is that the keyring loop is magnetic, so it gets attracted to the MagConnect magnet, making the combination a little awkward to use. Since both products are from the same company, I would have expected a non-magnetic solution, such as stainless steel.

Easy to assemble, and fits perfect in my pocket

So far have not used it because the instructional videos are different than what I was sold. It seems like I have missing extra stem pieces, according to the videos.
The device itself is sturdy and about 3cm’s larger than the compact key holder I use now. This holder holds less keys as well. Don’t think it is worth the cost and I paid $30 less on Black Fri.
Positives are the screws are flush against the holder and the sides are rounded if you like they. Has a removable clip if you need one. It also has a bottle opener that everyone needs…

I want to give it a higher rating but I'm having an issue with the order and I have contacted customer service 3 times already since last week and it's been complete silence. Very poor service in my opinion

These are great for organizing your keys. The quality of materials makes it nice to handle and looks great. Also knowing were your keys are is a huge deal!

I previously purchased a titanium KeySmart Rugged to hold my keys, and it worked great! So, I decided to purchase another KeySmart Rugged along with several KeySmart accessories to create a KeySmart Multi-Tool. The titanium version was not available, so I purchased the Black version.

First things first...if you purchase any color other than titanium, make sure to use a screwdriver that is smaller than the screw slots, or you will scrape the color off the outside rail pieces.

Next, if you try to add only accessories, it is extremely difficult to arrange them so they can be installed on both ends of the KeySmart organizer. I ended up installing all the accessories stacked up on only one end of the KeySmart organizer. This is OK, but it makes it a lot thicker than it could be if they were able to be organized to fit together when placed on both ends.

Last, make sure you purchase the expansion kit because you will need it if you purchase more than just a couple of accessories.

For example, I added the following accessories:
1) Scissors, 2) Folding Knife, 3) NanoPliers, 4) NanoRuler, 5) Bottle Opener/Screwdriver. Without the expansion kit, I would not have been able to get them all to fit.

NOTE: I looked for the NanoLight flashlight that would work with the KeySmart Organizer, but could not find it for purchase anywhere. I guess that NanoLight has been discontinued.

It was a very interesting experiment, but if I had it to do all over again...I would pass. Using the KeySmart Organizer to carry your keys is great. However, using the KeySmart organizer as a Multi-Tool to just carry KeySmart accessories just doesn't work very well. I know there are a lot of other multi-tools that are more pocketable, more functional, and less expensive.

I hate carrying a pocket full of keys and have been looking for a way to better organize them. I purchased the rugged keysmart organizer and it is exactly what I needed! I can now carry the same number of keys in a much smaller space. What a fantastic solution!

Great product. Nice to have everything organized and compact. Set up is a bit tricky but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple. I would buy this again.

Great organizing my keys and pocket clip is nice!

Promised delivery time was 5-12 days. Reality more than 6 weeks. No information, no travking numer. „Mystery gift“ was same product as I have ordered…
Assembly of keys into the keysmart needs small fingers and lots of patience.
No advantage compared to other cheaper product.
No recommendation.

I would have given 5 stars, but the shipping took a very long time. Though it was worth the wait, I was able to fit all the keys I needed in it with the Bottle Opener and Key Ring attachments. I went from having my keys looking like a janitor’s keys, to now having them all organized and together in my KeySmart Rugged Key Holder. I also think the belt clip is very useful.

We bought two classic versions (titan) 10 Years ago and they look like new. The Rugged (titan) is perfectly machined, but I personally prefer the tiny bit smaller size and the handling associated with it of the Classic. Either way you can't go wrong with buying one.

I gave this to my boyfriend just because, and I thought he would like it...he didn't like it. He loved it!!!! Got him the red color (Kansas Chiefs), and an accessory that I can't think of right now ; )
It organized all his keys, got rid of that clangy noise (I told him he's not 70+ yet, so no more noisy keys!). I love that it makes him more streamlined, organized and a "man of the town"!
He was so impressed with his new toy that he showed everyone at his work...he said there are some guys that want to buy one : ). Yay! Thank you for designing such an awesome, and functional key keeper!!! You guys/gals are the best!!!

Great tool. Holds keys well. Stays firm in my pocket. I wish the "Smart" holder came with the pocket clip.

I really like the belt clip and bottle opener. Also, I can fit all my keys including my fat ABUS bike lock key with the built-in flashlight. The big screws allow for easy fine tuning of the friction that holds the keys in place.

The pocket clip is too short. Keysmart falls out my pocket with the weight of my car keys and car alarm remote. All keysmart models should offer a longer pocket clip. I would upgrade to Pro or Max if they had clips, which they don't. Other than that, great product. I own 3 rugged for the last 4 years.

Love the product replaced my old one

The two Rugged’s I ordered are fantastic. They feel very durable, and arrived promptly. I had very little difficulties installing the keys. Just be cautious not to over torque your key like I did.

I hate jangling keys, and even on a carabiner and stuffed in my pocket they make noise. Not anymore. I love how quiet my keys are now and just as easy to access. I love the poker clip on my model is well because now I can actually clip on my belt and keep more space in my pocket. Great product and I’m very happy with my purchase.
